What are eusocial insects?
Eusocial insects such as ants, bees, and termites show cooperative brood care, overlapping generations, and a clear reproductive division of labor. Most members are sterile and dedicated to caring for a few reproductive queens. This intense cooperation is a major evolutionary advantage.

Bergmann's rule states that among warm-blooded species, populations in colder regions tend to be larger because a bigger body loses heat more slowly and retains warmth better. Northern wolves, for example, are bulkier than southern ones. It is an example of climate shaping body size evolution.
