What are the biggest engineering hurdles for construction robots (bricklaying, spraying, surveying), and why are they less mature than factory arms?
工地是非结构化、灰尘多、精度差且人机混杂的环境，构件尺寸和位置都不像车间那么标准。机器人要兼顾安全避障、粗差适应和移动底盘，感知与控制难度远高于固定工位。
Sites are unstructured, dusty, imprecise and shared with humans, with non-standard part sizes and positions. Robots must handle safety, rough tolerance and mobility, making perception and control far harder than at fixed stations.

BIM 给每个构件挂上尺寸、材料、工期和成本等信息，能在电脑里提前做碰撞检查和施工模拟。图纸冲突、管线打架在开工前就被发现，减少返工和浪费。
BIM attaches data—dimensions, materials, schedule, cost—to each component and lets teams run clash detection and construction simulation beforehand. Conflicts are caught before breaking ground, cutting rework and waste.

Why does building nowadays resemble stacking toy blocks, and how are factory-made walls and floors joined on site?
工厂先把墙和楼板做成大块构件，工地用吊车吊起来对准预留钢筋和接口，再浇一点混凝土把缝连牢。像拼积木一样，房子就很快立起来了。
Factories pre-make big wall and floor modules; cranes lift them onto aligned rebar and joints, then a little concrete seals the seams. Like toy blocks, the building rises quickly.
