Why are both "nuclear is absolutely dangerous" and "absolutely safe" imprecise?
Nuclear emits almost no CO₂ but carries accident, waste and cost issues; precisely, under strict regulation it's a low-carbon yet carefully-managed energy—not black-and-white.

Why is "just plant trees to offset all emissions" wrong?
Trees store carbon slowly with limited capacity, and fire or pests return it to air; they cover only part, can't "pay" for fossil emissions—cutting sources remains fundamental.

Why can't we simply say "paper cups are greener than plastic bottles"?
Paper cups often have plastic lining and cost heavy water-energy to make, and are hard to recycle; bottles degrade poorly yet recycle at high value. Which wins depends on use, recovery and full-chain emissions, not the material name.

Why doesn't a "recyclable" label mean "definitely recycled"?
"Recyclable" only means technically possible; it also needs local facilities, clean material and market value. Many plastics, mixed or unsorted, still end in landfill or incineration.

Why is "natural = eco-friendly" a myth?
Natural substances can be toxic, deforestation-driving or water-hungry—wild plant trade empties forests. Eco-friendliness depends on source, amount and full impact, not the word "natural".

Why is "biodiversity protection = protecting animals" too narrow?
Diversity spans genes, species and ecosystems; plants, fungi, microbes and habitats matter too. Without soil life and vegetation, animals have no home.
